Print has diminished over the years. Numerous magazines and newspapers have converted to a digital only presence. With so few avenues to pursue it is inevitable that print advertising would decline as well.
That doesn't mean it is gone completely. My time at JamHub taught me the music industry still has a fair amount of print magazines. Fitting for the industry that gave way to 'zines in the first place.
RISO sells printers, and Lateral Group sold printing services. So, it was natural that several print ad opportunities would come up.
Fun Fact: RISO had their own print shop in the basement and would print the ads with the same machines they were selling.
